Containment, equality and mental load: the figures that annoy!

 Confinement has greatly increased the mental load of women. Two of our experts, invited to the next edition of the “Elle Active Paris” forum on October 9, decipher its impact and how to remedy it.

An endless day! 62%* of women feel that their working days have been longer with confinement, compared to 54% of men. Teleworking , childcare, cooking… the result is unsurprising: “our studies show a hyper-solicitation of women on all fronts”, explains Éléonore Quarré, director of studies in the Opinion and Politics department at OpinionWay . When it drew up an initial inventory of the confinement, the polling institute demonstrated that “they are 56% *, against 46% among men, to affirm not to have had a moment of respite.
